Max Miller
Max Miller is an award-winning director working across Film, TV, Commercial and Web. Specialising in visual and comedy, Max has directed commercial work for brands such as Honda, American Express, Bonds, Canadian Club, Target, Lancome and Samsung. Also, the Samsung spot just recently won ‘Social Media Campaign of the Year’ at the 2020 AdNews awards. In 2020, Max had the opportunity to directed a Netflix comedy series titled Aunty Donna’s Big ol’ House of Fun. Shot in LA and made for Netflix, it’s a 6 part comedy series that’s part sketch, part loose narrative and mostly just silly. Being a part of the comedy group Aunty Donna, Max has also directed web content which has garnered over 65 million views on YouTube and over 400,000 subscribers, including the AACTA and ADG nominated web series Glennridge Secondary College. Max’s short films have screened in festivals at home and abroad, including The Bad Guy (MIFF - 2017), The Nanny (Tirana, Indy Fest, Amarcort - 2018) and Scopa (St.Kilda, CinefestOZ - 2019). In 2015, Max’s music video for the band Peking Duk, “High,” won the Rolling Stone Music Video of the Year award.
